Let’s Explore Jealousy

Let’s Explore Jealousy

Jealousy

Excerpt from “Falling in Love with your True Self”

When you are in a state of jealousy, and any situation that you compare yourself with another, you are disconnected from your true self. You can’t be synced up and connected to your true self while experiencing these emotions. Not that jealousy and comparisons are imperfect emotions, but they can be used as teaching moments. Remember how you feel on any subject is your sensor for how you are synced to it. Instead of trying to block out an opposing thought which can introduce jealousy, think of it as an alarm with a message blinking EXPLORE EXPLORE EXPLORE.

The “Jealousy Show Me the Way Exercise” is a great tool to help you get back on your path and not distracted with comparisons.

Feel Good

Excerpt from “Falling in Love with your True Self”

“Many call this emotional belief that a desire can happen just from you wanting it and believing it will happen without proof, as faith. You can think of it as faith or just the fact that you can have a desire manifest based solely on you permitting it into your existence based on your emotional reaction to it. Knowing that the power of your emotions are so important to your well-being it should become your priority to feel good.”

Journey to a Desire

The journey to a desire can be more enjoyable than the manifestation of it.

Excerpt from “Falling in Love with your True Self”

“This is hard for many people to grasp.  The idea that you can feel happiness before you obtain the thing you feel brings you happiness.  This is where examining the journey to manifestation comes into play.  Just as you have a journey on a road trip the journey to your manifestations and the creation of the idea are just as important.”

Embrace Change

Embrace Change

no-butterflies-change-picture-quote

Many see change as a threat to what feels comfortable in their lives.  As what feels easy and comfortable changes we fight against it causing us unhappiness.

Evolution and expansion are the basis for your life.  As we expand from experiences within ourselves and the experiences with others your life follows a path around that expansion.  The way you react to this expansion of your self and how you feel in any given moment is how your life will evolve.

If you oppose your natural progression that opposition will manifest a mirror image of your resistive emotions.

See the beauty and opportunity in change and embrace it for it’s powerful influence in your life.  You will see it flow much smoother and your life will start to shape around your dreams.

Happiness is a choice

Happiness is a choice

Happiness is a choice

“Happiness is a choice and your natural state of being. Your emotions are your guide that reveal if you are permitting or opposing your true self.” – Excerpt from “Falling in Love with your True Self” by Michael Vincent Ford

When we permit our true selves to flow naturally into our present existence then happiness follows.  Worry, doubt and sadness are the result of opposing that natural flow.  Every instance in life has a choice of how you perceive it.

Start to observe your emotions to people and situations in your life to see if you can possibly make a different choice of how you react at those times.   When you start living a happier more present life everything else will follow suit.

Easter – Dr. Maya Angelou “Still I Rise”

Easter has a theme of rebirth and rising from insurmountable odds.  When I read “Still I Rise” by Dr. Maya Angelou it reminds me of the power of ascension.

Still I Rise

Maya Angelou1928 – 2014You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I’ll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
‘Cause I walk like I’ve got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

Pc-Wallpaper-Sun-Rising-WallpaperJust like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I’ll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops,
Weakened by my soulful cries?

Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don’t you take it awful hard
‘Cause I laugh like I’ve got gold mines
Diggin’ in my own backyard.

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.

Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I’ve got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the huts of history’s shame
I rise
Up from a past that’s rooted in pain
I rise
I’m a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.

I rise
Into a daybreak that’s wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise."
